The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21

A few days ago, I signed up for an online workshop about mastering the media and growing your digital influence. This workshop was hosted by a popular influencer and someone I truly admire online through pictures and hearing her speak through interviews. I discovered the workshop because she was running an ad through social media on Instagram and Facebook; both platforms I use quite frequently. I had ran across her ad a few times and after about the third time seeing it I decided to sign up to see what it was about.

Around 6:00 pm on Sunday evening I tuned into the online workshop that lasted for a little over 1 hour. The host spoke about her brand and how she got started, digital marketing, and important things to consider when trying to grow your influence and start monetizing. I’m getting somewhere stick with me. At the end of the call she offered an online course that included working with her one on one. During the call I really resignated with her story and felt inspired and compelled to sign up for her course which was $750, yes I said $750. If I can be honest, I didn’t even have half of that money in my account but I knew deep down I needed to and wanted to purchase her online course and get the chance to work with her.

After the workshop ended I prayed about it, meditated on it, and put it out there into the universe, and most importantly I believed I was gonna sign up for this course. After my meditation something urged me to create a post for social media asking for a sponsor, so I did. I posted to my Instagram stories, I created a Facebook post, and I even did a tweet on Twitter asking for a sponsorship of $750. Less than 24 hours, someone sent me a Direct Message on Instagram asking if I had found a sponsor, my response was “no I didn’t”. He asked if the course I needed to take accepts credit card; my response “yes it does”. He follows up with I’ll be your sponsor. I immediately smiled, thanked God, and started jumping for joy.

The purpose of this story is to inspire you and encourage you to go after the things you really want in life, even the ones that cost. The enemy tends to attack our minds and make us feel like we are lacking, living in scarcity, or even limited based on what our current situations may look like. I myself am a victim of being attacked by negative forces which can really bring me down sometimes. However Matthew 17:20 states, Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Because I had faith and because I believed it was gonna come true, it did. Sometimes we forget that God works in the supernatural, he is a God who heals the lame, makes the blind see, and turns water into wine. As humans we don’t always understand how things can change in our lives when we are living in our own reality. Ladies and Gentlemen I’m here to tell you that you can have anything in life that your heart desires. Manifestation and the power of the tongue is real! God is real!

It turns out the guy who sponsored me was a childhood friend who follows me on social media. He has been keeping up with my growth and stories through social media and he likes my transparency of sharing my story, the positive energy I’m putting into the world, and how I’m inspiring others to do good things and go after what they truly want in life.

Continue to be put good out into the world and inspire others to do so as well and it will come right back around to you. No dream or goal is too big to accomplish, even if it sounds silly. A wise man once shared that if your dreams don’t scare you, they are aren’t big enough.

Sending lots of love and light your way. If this post really resignated with you or you have a similar story to share, please leave me a comment below, I’d really appreciate it,
